Just a summation of some of my Twitter thoughts concerning the super-awesome-amazing-tastic free posters.

I’ve gotten a number of honest-to-goodness angry emails about small details and minutia in the posters, mainly the map, but also so-and-so is missing a wing, why is such-and-such pony on the antagonists poster, etc.  Literally ANGRY messages.  The kind where you imagine the individual on the other end of the keyboard typing with their fists and mainlining Redbull and anabolic steroids. 

I didn’t make these posters.  And personally, you are welcome to complain to me from one end of the interwebs to another.  BUT two real, incredibly talented artists did make these posters, an unnamed artists designed the map and MLP layout designer Nayuki made the other three.  And they did a magnificent job.  

These posters are beautiful, filled with awesome details and many, many references to fan labor and content.  They’re also FREE being given out to fans at no charge.  

There’s nothing wrong with discussing minutia, but don’t be a jerk.  Appreciate the art and the gift of these posters as much as the creators obviously appreciate us in making them available.  Be kind and gracious, not rude and entitled.  

Also, I want to wish everyone good luck in seeking out the posters.  I’ve done what I can to make them available to folks, but I’ve tried to take only a moderate amount.  I HIGHLY recommend everyone do likewise.  Remember, these are free to everyone, including other fans and especially kids.  Don’t be greedy, don’t be selfish, robbing others of the opportunity to get these incredible posters.
